The Door Axis Anodized Aluminum Kick Plate protects the lower face of entry and interior doors from boots, carts, and pet scratches. It is sold as a single 6 in x 28 in plate or a two-plate 6 in x 34 in set for covering both faces or a pair of doors.
Each plate is formed from 5052 aluminum alloy with an anodized surface that resists dents, weather, and discoloration in daily service. The 18 gauge (0.04 in) stock adds protection without reading bulky on a residential door, and installation is three steps: position the plate, drive the supplied screws, and peel the protective film. The 28 in plate suits 30 in doors, and the 34 in plates suit 36 in doors (typical).
