The Door Axis Vertical Rod Exit Device secures double doors and mullion-free pairs at top and bottom while releasing instantly on push. Grade 2 series hardware in extruded hard anodized aluminum for 36 in doors.
The push rail drives a top pullman latch and bottom bolt assembly through surface-mounted rods, engaging strikes at head and floor. Projection runs 2-1/2 in, dropping to 1-7/8 in when dogged open for open-business hours. Non-handed and reversible on 1-3/4 in doors, with a published UL listing; pair two devices with the double-door strike for rim and vertical applications on pairs.

- Set the push rail at the recommended 41 in centerline unless the schedule states otherwise.
