The zinc alloy lock carries an ANSI Grade 3 (Good) residential security rating and throws the bolt from a keyed exterior cylinder to an interior thumb turn. The latch seats 2-3/8 in and 2-3/4 in backsets without adjustment, the 2-1/8 in face bore drops into standard door preparations, and doors from 1-3/8 in to 1-3/4 in thick are covered.
