Light Archon Foreman switches are built for production wiring: the switch body carries a modular rear connector socket, and a pre-wired snap-on connector lands the circuit in seconds at trim-out. The platform covers toggle and rocker styles in single-pole and 3-way functions, all 15 A at 120/277V AC in spec grade construction. Quote-first: add devices and connectors to your quote list and the trade desk confirms the system before release.

The rear connector system moves termination work off the device: conductors land once in the connector, and the switch snaps on with large brass terminal blades inside a UL Listed finger-safe housing, leaving no exposed terminals to tape and making device swaps a no-rewire job. A heavy-gauge steel strap with an auto-ground clip carries the mechanical load, and the shallow body clears crowded boxes. Rated loads span LED, CFL, fluorescent, incandescent, and magnetic low voltage lighting at up to 1800W. The matching snap-on connector is required and quoted separately, in solid or stranded lead versions to suit the wiring method.

Frequently Asked Questions

What box does it need?
A standard single-gang wall box. Your installer verifies box fill for the conductors present per NEC 314.16.

Do I need anything besides the switch?
Yes. The rear snap-on connector is required and quoted separately, in solid or stranded lead versions. The trade desk pairs the right connector count with your device list at quote review.

Why a modular connector system?
Terminations happen once, in the connector, during rough trim. Devices then snap on in seconds, and a damaged switch swaps out later without touching the wiring.

Which wall plate fits?
Toggle units take standard toggle plates; rocker units take designer opening plates. Plates are quoted separately.
