Light Archon Sentinel 15A Self-Test GFCI Duplex Outlet
Reviewed pricing, lead time, freight, and final configuration are confirmed during quote review before order release.
Light Archon Sentinel GFCI outlets put self-test ground fault protection in a slim body that fits shallow and crowded boxes. The platform runs four colors with standard or tamper resistant versions, all 15 A, 125V, NEMA 5-15R, so one line covers kitchens, baths, laundry areas, and every other location the code calls out.
The device tests itself within seconds of power-up and keeps checking automatically, beyond the base UL requirement, while staying able to trip on a real ground fault even mid-test. A status indicator light shows power and protection state and flags line/load reversal. A lockout action blocks reset when the device cannot respond to a ground fault. Electronics are tuned to resist nuisance trips from high-frequency noise, and the reduced-depth body leaves room for conductors in any standard single-gang box. Back and side wire terminations with external clamps show proper wire seating at a glance.

Frequently Asked Questions
What box does it need?
A standard single-gang wall box. The slim body helps in shallow boxes, but your installer should still verify box fill for the conductors present.
Do I need the tamper resistant version?
The NEC requires tamper resistant receptacles in most dwelling locations. Pick the TR variant unless your inspector confirms the location is exempt.
What does the status light show?
Power and protection state, plus indication of line/load reversal at install. A device that loses the ability to protect locks out and will not reset.
Does it protect downstream outlets?
Yes. Feed-through terminals extend GFCI protection to downstream outlets when your electrician lands them on the load side.
