Light Archon SteelForm 4 in. Square Steel Boxes
Reviewed pricing, lead time, freight, and final configuration are confirmed during quote review before order release.
Light Archon SteelForm boxes are the steel workhorses of commercial rough-in: a 30.3 cu. in. square body for device and junction work, a bracket version that nails square to the stud face, a 1-gang wall box with a grounding bump, and a deep utility box for surface work.
The square format runs 4 in. across with a 2-1/8 in. depth and sixteen 1/2 in. and 3/4 in. knockouts, so raceway can enter from any face. Pair it with RiseWorks raised covers to set one or two devices flush with drywall, or close it flat as a junction point. Galvanized steel bodies bond into the equipment grounding path with listed fittings, and the wall format's grounding bump speeds the bond screw landing. UL listed per the published listing.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many devices fit the square format?
One or two, set by the raised cover you pair with it. The 30.3 cu. in. body leaves fill room for the splices behind them per NEC.
Which covers fit these boxes?
The RiseWorks line: raised device covers for flush device work, GFCI formats, and flat covers for junction closures. Both lines share standard 4 in. square screw spacing.
What is the grounding bump for?
A raised boss on the 1-gang wall format that takes the bond screw without a separate clip, keeping the equipment ground bond fast and consistent.
Can these mount in wet locations?
No. These are dry interior boxes. For outdoor surface work, quote the StormSet weatherproof line instead.
