Prezio Stone Sodalite Royal Blue Granite Slab Program
Reviewed pricing, lead time, freight, and final configuration are confirmed during quote review before order release.
Sodalite Royal Blue is the deeper, denser cousin of the famous Bahia blues: a saturated royal field packed with sodalite crystal, broken by drifts of cream and sand minerals. Under polish it reads like lapis at architectural scale, built for bars, glowing island fronts, and rooms that want true blue rather than blue grey.
Slabs run approx 105 x 65 in from sequential bundles. Traded as granite, it takes a glassy polish that saturates the blue; honed and leathered faces mute it toward midnight. Blue density and the cream mineral balance shift between lots, and allocation is approved on current photography during quote review.

Installation and Care Notes
- Fabrication and installation by qualified stone professionals only; this program supplies material and sequencing documentation to your fabricator of record.
- Field template verification is required before cutting; nominal slab dimensions are planning figures and every lot is confirmed against the released slab list.
- Seam placement and vein flow direction are approved on drawings during quote review before fabrication begins.
- 2 cm tops require continuous plywood substrate or engineered support at spans and overhangs; 3 cm spans further and typically carries overhangs to 10 in without corbels, confirmed by the fabricator.
- Seal all faces and edges before grouting or first use, then follow the resealing cadence in the care schedule.
- Edge profile, sink and faucet cutouts, and backsplash heights are selected and priced at quote.
Program Support
- Every slab is graded on arrival and allocated from sequential bundles for consistency
- Current lot photography is issued for approval during quote review before any slab is released
- Support continues through templating and installation questions with your fabricator of record
Frequently Asked Questions
How does it differ from Azul Bahia?
Both are sodalite stones. This material carries a denser, deeper blue with heavier cream mineral patching, where Bahia runs brighter with finer webbing. Lot photography at quote shows the exact balance.
Is it suitable for kitchen counters?
Yes with sealed care and pH neutral cleaners. Like all sodalite stones it rewards cutting boards to protect the deep polish.
Which finish is recommended?
Polished for the signature lapis depth. Honed and leathered read midnight blue and hide fingerprints on high touch surfaces such as bar dies.
Can it be backlit?
Sodalite stones are generally opaque; backlighting is not part of this program. The drama comes from polish depth and the cream mineral contrast.
